to exemplify what success means to me, i pose a question to all of you. what brings us together here today? i believe that it is the beauty of the spoken word. the effect of pause and the sound of rhetoric are unique to the spoken word. i believe the beauty of the spoken word is even stronger for those who have difficulty in expressing themselves. these people are reclusive and had their emotions hidden within them. i once went to australia and i saw two pictures, once was drawn by a normal child, the other was drawn by a child with social inhibitions. the picture drawn by the normal child was simple and plain. the other was life'like, full of details and imagination. what this shows is that these are ideas, emotions and feelings that are locked internally in these children.

my ideal is to be the key, spreading the beauty of the spoken words to these children. these children have been neglected, but i feel that i can and should help these children to find themselves and be able to express themselves.

i realize that this is a difficult task, and there are many obstacles on the way. but i believe in my ideals and i will stick to them''even in the face of adversity. we should never have a premature abortion of ideals'let the child, let our ideals, stand the challenge. for a life without ideals is not living.

记得先哲梁启超曾经说过：少年智则中国智，少年强则中国强!十六七岁的青少年是祖国的未来，是祖国的希望!我们每个同学都要胸怀祖国，为祖国的繁荣昌盛而努力学习。

中华民族是世界上最古老的民族，它拥有五千年生生不息的历史，它创造了五千年灿烂辉煌的文明，它还经历了五千年绵延不绝的创伤!你们可知道，我们的民族为什么能够延续下来，而且具有强大的生命力?是我们的人民和祖国同在!

古往今来，有多少仁人志士在祖国危急存亡的关头，抛头颅，洒热血，为国捐躯。捐躯赴国难，视死忽如归。是曹植的慷慨悲歌;天下兴亡，匹夫有责。是顾炎武的金玉良言;苟利国家生死以，岂因祸福避趋之。是林则徐的铮铮誓言;我自横刀向天笑，去留肝胆两昆仑!是谭嗣同的悲壮抉择。他们为什么能够这样大义凛然，从容面对生死祸福?是祖国在他们的心中，他们和祖国在一起，祖国人民永远记住他!

纵观古今，有多少前辈先哲为了振兴祖国，造福人民，而放弃一切，奋发图强，积极有为。悬梁刺股、囊萤映雪的故事妇孺皆知，苏秦终成大儒，他说六国抗击秦国就是为挽救各国被秦国吞并而做的努力;周恩来青少年读书时就立下了为中华之崛起而读书的誓言，并努力践行着;钱学森在海外，学习优异、事业有成，生活优越。但是当新中国成立的消息传来时，他惊喜万分，冲破重重阻挠，历尽千难万险，终于回归祖国!为新中国的航天事业做出了不朽的贡献。他们为什么能够这样勤奋刻苦、学有所成呢?是他们心系祖国，他们和祖国在一起，祖国人民永远记住他!

然而放眼现在，我们青少年同学中存在的一些现象却很令人心痛!一些风华正茂的中学生，衣着怪异，发型独特，有时出口成脏，有时还会偷偷地吞云吐雾，有的沉迷于网络游戏中，有的沉浸在言情、魔幻小说的世界里……不知道他们心中可有理想、可有信念;可有亲人，可有祖国?他们的生活如同晨雾般虚无，就像白纸一样苍白!这样的人不仅不能为祖国作出贡献，还会成为家庭和社会国家的包袱。

还有一些人，他们是另类一族——哈日族、哈韩族。他们提起日本动漫，如数家珍，樱桃小丸子、蜡笔小新、灌篮高手网球王子等等，不胜枚举;他们说起韩国明星，信手拈来，金喜善、权相宇、东方神起、rian等等，滔滔不绝。可是你要问起他王孟组合、豪放词派，他就面红耳赤，一问三不知了，至于什么函数公式、欧姆定律、元素周期表呀，哪能记住几个!这样的人能算是中学生，是我们祖国的未来吗?他们如果长此以往，家不成家，国将不国呀!

当然，我们在座的大部分同学都在争分夺秒，脚踏实地地努力学习，不过每个人的动机各不同，或许为自己创造美好的前程、或许为家人争光添彩，但我们更应该以小我为出发点、以小家为基础，树立远大理想，为祖国而努力学习。

让我们把祖国放在心中，努力学习，报效祖国吧!祖国永远和你在一起，我们的明天将会更加美好!

you know, you know, we started this great effort on a sunny july morning in pinders corner on pat and liz moynihan's beautiful farm and 62 counties, 16 months, 3 debates, 2 opponents, and 6 black pantsuits later, because of you, here we are.

you came out and said that issues and ideals matter, jobs matter, downstate and upstate, health care matters, education matters, the environment matters, social security matters, a woman's right to choose matters. it all matters and i just want to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you, new york!

thank you for opening up your minds and your hearts, for seeing the possibility of what we could do together for our children and for our future here in this state and in our nation. i am profoundly grateful to all of you for giving me the chance to serve you.

i will - i will do everything i can to be worthy of your faith and trust and to honor the powerful example of senator daniel patrick moynihan. i would like all of you and the countless new yorkers and americans watching to join me in honoring him for his incredible half century of service to new york and our nation. senator moynihan, on behalf of new york and america, thank you.

i promise you tonight that i will reach across party lines to bring progress for all of new york's families. today we voted as democrats and republicans. tomorrow we begin again as new yorkers.

he began to play badminton when he was at primary school. in , he won his first good medal, which was significant to him, in guangzhou. because of that, he entered the chinese badminton team. as he is as old as lin dan, who is the top one in the world, he is always put into a situation wh(。)ich is not good to him. he seldom beats lin dan, so he gained a name which is calledsquo;千年老二squo;. in fact, his techniques are comprehensive, but he is lack of passion, the desire to win is not so strong. so he always has misplays. due to this, he seldom wins the gold medal. i think this is related to his character. he is easygoing and couth; he looks as if he will never get angry with anybody. so this affects him while he is playing badminton. in a period of time, critical voice has come towards him. he is under great pressure. he was not in the best state. but recently he cheers up again. several days ago, the chinese badminton championship was held in guangzhou. i went to see him on saturday. i was very excited, and i shouted loudly, hoping he could hear me. there is no doubt that he won the game. before he went away, he waved hand to us, how excited i was at that time! the next day, he beat li zongwei again and he won the mansquo;s single gold medal. all of us are very happy. after 7 years, which could be a long time for an athlete, he proved himself again in guangzhou, which is considered as his lucky place.

i think this will be the energy of his advancing. and i hope he can keep this fighting will and win the gold medal in the 29th olympic games held in beijing!

理想是花，播下种子，需要我们用汗水去浇灌;理想是树，种下小苗，需要我们用爱心去呵护。总有一天，花儿会开放，树会成长。

这个小男孩叫李小天，他的父亲是买砂锅饭的，也只能靠这个维持一下生活。李小天从小没有了妈妈，只能和爸爸相依为命。小天每次做梦都会梦见妈妈，搂住自己，说：小天我爱你!”在小天的想象中，妈妈是一只飞鸟，在天空中给他鼓励。而小天的邻居是一位年轻的阿姨，从小天看到阿姨的第一天起，他就想让阿姨当他的妈妈。

小天的跑步很好，班中的马晓比小天跑得快，常常笑话小天，更过分的是，马晓还带动班里的同学一起嘲笑小天。小天的梦想就是跑步，他的铁哥们刑风就差一步就进了国家队，可是在那一时，因为家里的一点小事情，给耽误了。刑风一直支持小天，为了小天的梦想，他一直锻炼小天，让小天跑在一分钟内。可是小天的爸爸根本不知道小天的理想是什么，所以就逼着小天学习，直到有一天，刑风告诉了小天的爸爸，他的爸爸在那一时才明白，小天的梦想是跑步。

小天凭着想妈妈的意志，凭着跑步这个理想，跑了第一名，他的邻居阿姨也来为小天庆祝。穿上了比较像小天梦里那只飞鸟的衣服，为小天加油!最后，让小天喊她了一声亲切的“妈妈”喊得小天心里甜滋滋的!

理想是生命的源泉;理想乡是前进的动力;理想是春夏交替的旺季。有了理想，人生就有目标;有了奋斗的目标，人生就有价值。为之，你会拼搏努力，坚持到底。然而，人生如果没有梦想，就注定会普普通通，忙碌终身。我们要敢于去梦想，不要怀疑自己的能力，每个人身上都蕴含着无穷无尽的能力。只要它们熟睡着，等待梦想去唤醒它们。世界上没有做不到的事情，只有想不到的事情。想别人不敢想的事，做别人不敢做的，总有一天，美丽的梦想会实现!

看看地，都是水泥路地，地上只要有一朵花，有些女孩就拔下来闻闻再扔了，但她有没有想过花儿的心情? 我们见过美丽的森林，十分美丽。大家看过《熊出没》这个动画片吗?光头强认识吧!他是个砍伐工人，他每天都砍树，电锯发出的声音吵死人了，如果有更多的人来砍树，那森林不一会就成沙漠了。 我们就这样不管吗?森林是一个天然的水库，空气清新剂，你想想，如果树木给砍完了，街头的树也被砍完了，会怎么样?小动物们无家可归，人们因没有氧气而死亡，是不是很可怕?但人类仍然这样浪费，也只有这样的结局。不过，人们从现在开始保护地球资源还来得及，到时地球会变得十分美丽! 我们要保护地球，种植物，也要保护那些可怜的小动物? 大家是不是经常看见有些人穿皮衣?他们的衣服全是动物皮做的，有些人看了她们，不但无动于衷，反而认为她们十分的高贵，是有钱人。她们的头可真是石头做的，她们不知道换位思考。如果你是这些可怜的小动物，你就会知道被残杀时的绝望和伤心。如果有一个人问你最凶残的动物是谁?是虎?是狼?还是狮子?不对，都不对，而是人。

未来，是不可预知的，而我们对未来的憧憬，却是无限的。现在，就让我把这篇文字，写给十年后的自己。

十年之后，我二十出头，应该会是在大学里刻苦地攻读学位。那座大学拥有古老典雅的建筑，绿叶轻舞的垂柳，一座幽雅的小桥架在美丽宁静的康河上——没错，它就是英国的剑桥大学。我是那里成千上万个学生中的普通一员，我会尽全力认真学习。我抓住每一次机会去听我感兴趣的课程，与同学们认真讨论问题，与教授争论……繁重的学习任务因此变得兴趣盎然。剑桥的校训是“让自由之风劲吹”，正是在这样自由的学习环境，使得我们畅所欲言。

剑桥大学拥有全球数一数二的图书馆，那座建筑蕴含着历史的沧桑与令人陶醉的书卷气。为了完成教授布置的作业，我每天都会来这里查阅资料，漫步于一排排书架间，沉醉在书本古老的韵致里。泛黄的书页，带给我知识与灵感，在完成作业的同时，我也感受到了阅读的乐趣。我喜欢，就这么徜徉在书海中，无法自拔。

业余时间，我不会把任意一秒钟“浪费”在屋子里——我总是会叫上几个好朋友去打球，去作画，去弹琴，或是划着一叶小舟漂浮在康河上，甚至就是静静地，抱着双膝坐在河边。暖暖的微风吹过，吹起了一片“绿丝绦”，那柳枝仿佛在风中曼舞，真是“天光悦身性，水影空人心”。这样的景象会让你觉得天下太平，什么坏事也不会发生。平时的学习压力荡然无存，有的只是精神的宁静与喜悦。这条康河不仅在我眼前流过，也在我心上缓缓流过，洗涤了我的心灵。身旁的好友，不需要太多的言语，躺在草地上一起数星星，或者彼此相视一笑，那一刻，便是最大的幸福与满足了。

但我没有忘记，我现在还只有12岁，仍在这繁华的都市里，学习初中的知识。十年之后，我会是什么样?

明天是一个永恒的话题，也是最不可预知的设想。我所能够做的，就是不偏离轨道地行走在梦想的大道上。至于十年后我看到这篇文章时，是放声大哭，还是痛哭流涕，这一切，都还只是个未知数。未来的路，还很长。

我就此搁笔——谨以这篇洋溢着梦想的文字，送给十年之后的自己。

第8篇

在非洲的一片茂密的丛林中，走着四个皮包骨头的男子，他们扛着一只沉重的箱子，在密林里踉踉跄跄地往前行走。他们跟随队长进入丛林探险，可是，队长却在任务即将完成时患急病而不幸长眠于林中了。临终前队长把他亲手制作的箱子托付给他们，并十分诚恳地说：“如果你们能把这个箱子送到我的朋友手里，你们将得到比金子还贵重的东西。”

埋葬了队长之后，他们便扛着箱子上路了。道路越来越难走，他们的力气也越来越小了，但他们仍然鼓着劲往前走着。

终于有一天，绿色的屏障突然拉开，他们历经千辛万苦之后终于走出了丛林，找到了队长的朋友。可是那个朋友却说：“我一无所知啊!”于是，打开箱子一看，竟是一堆无用的木头!

就这么个故事，看起来，队长给他们的只是一箱无用的木头。其实，他却给了他们行动的目的，使他们获得了“比金子还贵重的东西”——生命。从哲学角度上讲，人与动物不同的地方是人具有高级思维能力。所以人不能像其它动物一样浑浑噩噩地活着，人的行动必须有明确的目的和奋斗的目标。

在座的各位都是文科班的学生。我们大学生的目标就是努力学习文化知识，成为祖国需要的合格人材。让我们为这个目标而奋斗吧!谢谢大家。

i think my dad was a hero for me when i was a young child. we'd go fishing, walks, and other fun things for a kid.

every child has a good and great father, and so do i. my dad played a very important role in my daily life——exactly speaking, in my past 16 years.

my father always stands in the center of my life， from past till now and possibly in the future.

my family was rather poor when i was in my childhood. we didn't have our own house and had to live in a shabby， small room rented from my father's factory. the room was so small that there was little space for people to walk. i didn't have my own bed and had to sleep with my parents. this is terrible both for my parents and me.

but father made this all different!he works very hard on his own business, now we have our own 2 housese,surly,i have my own room.and he take our family so much happiness, richer and richer.

when i was little, i did everything with my dad. you could always find me sitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. every night he would read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character.
